Nexus is an action sports film documenting five distinct groups of skiers, their connection to the mountains, and how skiing shapes their relationships.
ONE ISN’T ENOUGH
For years, top women in the ski industry have heard the same sentiment: we already have a girl in this segment, one is enough.
When ‘Pretty Faces’ was released in 2015, an all-women’s ski film was groundbreaking. An entire cast of elite female athletes skiing massive lines was a change of pace from the one, maybe two female stars typically featured in high-production snow sports films.
In the last several years, similar films have been bootstrapped and crowdfunded, but large-budget films featuring women are rare.
That’s where we come in: we wanted to be part of changing the industry for the better, so we created Nexus.
